Casa Verrone

A single residence on the western shore, above Gordon Pass. Completed 2021. Represented exclusively by Meridia.

Four metres of oiled walnut on a centre pivot. The hall behind it is deliberately unlit until noon.

Travertine floor, honed, laid in a single direction from the door to the water.

Twenty-one metres north to south, uninterrupted. No column, no drop, no return.

Ceiling at 4.2m. The west wall is a single run of glazing that pockets away into the structure, leaving the opening bare.

Ninety-two metres of frontage on Gordon Pass. Deep water, no bridges, direct to the Gulf.

Concrete dock with two lifts, 30,000 lb and 12,000 lb. Rebuilt 2022.

The terrace faces west. It is the only room in the house that is not a room.

Shell-stone deck, 240 m². Pool 19 × 4.5 m, vanishing edge to the south.
